Inside TCAG: Making of Seasons Drop

There’s a children’s book we read over and over when my kids were little—Wild Child by Lynn Plourde. We wore out one copy and bought another. While gorgeous colors and bold illustrations have lived rent-free in my mind for years, it wasn't the direct inspiration for the Seasons Drop series.

Truthfully, the idea flowed more naturally from my Elemental Drops. I’ve always loved the drop shape—it’s soft and striking all at once—and using it to tell each season's story felt like the next right step. I spent hours choosing just the right colors for each one, trying to capture the feeling of each season in a classic form.

Spring Drop

Fresh green grass and the first glimpse of color from spring bulbs—especially yellow tulips. This drop is built from greens and yellows, soft and hopeful, like the world waking up.

Repair Broken Staines Glass: A True Story of Blood, Sweat, and Tears

How? It's hard to believe but I stepped on it!  I usually dry freshly cleaned stained glass on bathmats or thick towels. In the bathroom. On the floor.

I know, I know... it was a plan designed to fail. And, fail it did!

Pastel Fall Decor & Stained Glass Charm: A Softer Take on Autumn Style

This look is perfect for homes with warm color palettes. Pastels echo the fading light, misty mornings, and cool evenings as we change from summer to fall. Muted colors pair beautifully with dried florals, milk glass, antique finishes, and creamy white paint colors—think delicate and cozy, not loud and busy.
